With access to smart decluttering tools, trusted realtors, storage and moving services, home safety experts, and space planning professionals, KIV provides a fully customized platform to handle every aspect of downsizing, room by room and item by item.
The app also includes a variety of helpful checklists from the most trusted organizations in the home safety industry, as well as features such as a downsizing cost estimator, online yard sale, and digital decluttering tools.
KIV is specifically designed to serve the needs of customers aged 55 and over who are planning to downsize, providing tailored services and support to help them navigate this major life transition with ease and confidence.
Majid Khakizadeh is an experienced leader in the healthcare and elderly care industry, with over 22 years of experience as a healthcare provider and marketing manager. He holds a degree in Healthcare Marketplace from Minnesota University, as well as a diploma in Home Staging from Seneca College.
In addition to his work with Kept in View (KIV), Khakizadeh is also a respected educator, teaching courses on home care and senior care at Canadian colleges. With a passion for helping seniors live comfortably and independently, he is dedicated to providing innovative solutions and support to those navigating the challenges of aging in place.
Roya Aghajani is a valuable member of the Kept in View (KIV) team, bringing with her 18 years of experience as a professional healthcare researcher and healthcare professional. As a certified senior home safety specialist, she provides critical insights into the unique challenges and needs of seniors as they age in place.
As KIV’s business partner, Aghajani works closely with director Majid Khakizadeh, who also serves as the director of the Toronto Home Group for Healthcare Marketing. Roya brings her extensive expertise in the industry to KIV, consulting with a team of young professional app designers and developers from Ryerson University to create innovative solutions for seniors and their families.

Ryerson University | Electrical Engineering. Designed a website and app for users to view details of the Ryerson University SOUSCC48 conference hosting over 150 presentations. Spearheaded the research and construction of Hatch’s Mobile audit app using Flutter, Python, & Flask.
Ryerson University, Chemical Engineering (BEng). Data Scientist Intern, Hatch, Optimized and deployed Python TensorFlow models that detect anomalies in Piping and Instrumentation Design diagrams on Azure Software Engineer, Hephaestus Technologies. Developed and hosted a conferencing website and native IOS and Android application using Vue.js, Flutter and AWS’s Route 53, CloudFront and S3.
